How This Tool Works (Simple Explanation)

Think of option writers as larger participants creating pressure zones. Highest call OI often behaves like a ceiling and highest put OI often behaves like a floor. When price breaks these zones and writers start unwinding, momentum can expand quickly.

This page helps you find those symbols quickly instead of checking each option chain manually.

Step-by-Step: How to Filter Opportunities

Step 1: Select Expiry Date

Start with the nearest relevant expiry so signals reflect current market positioning.

Step 2: Pick Market Side

Use bullish/bearish/neutral filter logic to match your directional framework.

Step 3: Keep Stronger Participation

Prioritize symbols where OI levels are meaningful and unwinding intensity is not weak.

Step 4: Focus on Active Triggers

Keep symbols where price is crossing key walls or is very close to those trigger levels.

Step 5: Sort and Shortlist

Sort by signal strength, gap percent, and OI change to prepare a small actionable watchlist.

All Controls You Can Use

Search by symbol, switch sentiment (bullish/bearish/neutral), choose single or combined expiries, keep live updates on, and sort by core metrics to build a focused watchlist.

Trigger Desk: Column Explanation

CE PCR/TILT and PE PCR/TILT

Shows the balance of positioning around wall strikes. Use this to gauge whether call-side or put-side pressure is dominant.

CE Desk and PE Desk

Strike, OI, and OI change percent for dominant walls. Negative OI change often signals writer unwinding.

Call Side and Put Side Gaps

Gap percent and point distance from walls. Lower distance can mean higher trigger proximity.

Bias and Breakout Status

Classifies rows as bullish, bearish, or neutral based on wall interaction and unwinding context.

Signal Score

Quick ranking score to surface stronger candidates first. Always validate with price action.

Exact Numeric Thresholds Used in This Tool

  • Bullish breakout context: price above CE wall with CE OI change below 0.
  • Bearish breakout context: price below PE wall with PE OI change below 0.
  • High unwinding bucket: max absolute OI change percent >= 10.
  • Moderate unwinding bucket: max absolute OI change percent >= 5 and < 10.
  • Low unwinding bucket: max absolute OI change percent < 5.
  • Near-trigger zone: price very close to wall, usually within roughly 2 percent of trigger level.

Practical Setup Checklist

Bullish Watchlist

  • Breakout status bullish or near bullish trigger.
  • Call-side OI change percent negative (writer unwinding present).
  • Adequate OI participation and acceptable liquidity.
  • Price confirms breakout with structure and volume.

Bearish Watchlist

  • Breakout status bearish or near bearish trigger.
  • Put-side OI change percent negative (writer unwinding present).
  • Adequate OI participation and acceptable liquidity.
  • Price confirms breakdown with structure and volume.

Risk Note: Re-check every refresh cycle. If unwinding and breakout conditions fade, treat setup quality as weaker and reduce risk.
